1998-2005 General motors service manual DVD for every vehicl | 4.15 GB

GM Service manual on DVD applies to all GM vehicles from 1998 to 2005. Unzip the RAR files to a single ISO then burn to DVD or mount to virtual drive. Run setup.exe from DVD root to install application. Then run \SI_DATA\setup.exe to install the Database. Then run \SI_UPDATE\siupdate.exe to update the database. Some firewall programs will need an exception for the main program before it will allow access to run the application, C:\Program Files\GM SPO\ESI\TRANSBASE\TBKERN32.EXE
If you cannot get it to work you might want to try this
After extracting the EXE you will have an ISO. You can mount or extract the ISO using WinCDEmu or 7Zip.
You will then see VMware. This is Virtual Machine Software meaning it will run another OS on your desktop.
If you are using Windows Vista or Seven be sure to run it as "administrator" by right clicking on it. This way everything will have permission to run.
Once you finish installing you launch a blue ICON called GM 05-09
Then you launch the program "SERVICE" in the virtual desktop and give it a few minutes to load just like you would with the real crappy slow Safedisc version.
You can then, if you choose to, install firefox and view GM SPO inside it but you will need to drag and drop the exe and the addon xpi's into the virtual desktop. There is no network connection in the Virtual machine. Also IE will always launch itself despite Firefox being installed...
For advance users it may be possible to copy the mdf and mds files to your computer and do without virtual machine if you know how to bypass Safedisc. I had no luck doing that...
